CAKE! FRIENDS! and A PAIR OF RED HORNS! What more can we ask for!

Looking at all the photos we received today truly had me in tears this morning.

I felt it in my heart that we were going to "hear" something today.

As I woke up this morning, I couldn't get out of the bed fast enough. I raced down stairs, turned on my computer, got my coffee, fed Honey Bear (and let him outside to do his business) and waited & waited for my dinosaur notebook to come to life.

Once it "decided to" start moving...

The first site I hit was yahoo to see if any new emails had come in an THERE THEY WERE...all 8 EMAILS including countless photos of our sweet adorable Benjamin, enjoying some Chinese New Year Celebration cake we had sent to his orphanage (along with a few other things)!

As I started opening every.single.email, I called for Keith to come down stairs.

He knew it must be something important for I would never risk raising my voice while the girls were still sleeping.

Soon he was seated beside me on the couch and I quickly started the slide show of priceless photos that we received...

As each photo flashed before our eyes on the notebook's screen, Keith turned to me and said, "Honey, that's your baby boy! That's MY baby boy! Oh My God Shell, THAT'S OUR BENJAMIN!"

Both of us were so over come with emotion... that could never be put into words.

We wanted to stare at each & every photo for hours and talk about what's about to happen...

and than...

Reality Hit ~ It is only Friday...Keith has to go to work...Francesca needs to get up & ready for school...and Annabelle ~ who at this point was crying out for me to come & get her ~ was also ready to start her day.

So away the photos went along with the computer...until NOW!

LOOK & SEE for yourself below!

That's our little boy!

This is our Benjamin!

(so our referral told us he likes cake and from the look of things...it is so true!)

(see the dimple...our son has dimples!)

(talking on the phone ~ he is truly my son!)

"Our dearest Benjamin, I truly hope you enjoyed your cake and all the other goodies we had sent to you. Counting down the days until you are in our arms...Love you so very much."

Love those dimples! Oh he will be SO fun when you finally wrap your arms around him. He looks like a very busy little man! And that cake--WOW--I think I would like cake more if it looked that yummy. They do a fantastic job in China on their cakes!

Oh, I just started crying! He is so precious.... and that is the biggest cake I have ever seen! Don't let my girls see those pictures or they will want one just as large for their birthdays! Praying that the paperwork turtle gets a boost of energy and that it goes very quickly!

I love each & every picture! ESPECIALLY the one where he is talking on the phone! It is obvious the boy knows his way around the toys :) AND cake!! Can you believe that? Note to yourself: pack some M&Ms for gotcha day!!

I especially love seeing the inside of the Luoyang Orphanage. I am not sure how much time Mya Jian spent there- but the fact remains - that's HER home orphanage too & seeing it clean & cheery (can you say that about an orphanage?) - well, it warms my heart! Benjamin looks like he is being taken care of - until his Mommy & Daddy can come!

Oh my goodness Shelly~What a wonderful morning it was to wake up to these pictures. He's precious. I'm so glad you got to see him celebrating and really getting into his cake. Gotta love a boy who loves frosting.

I hope these pictures help carry you until you can carry him.
